January 21, 2022 Never heard of Mera until recommended by JoBurg breeder and Cape Province Dog Club. Our German Shepherd “Magic” arrived early December and am convinced we did the right move and am only using Mera. With previous dogs tried so many different products (even Raw food (to no avail) with allergy prone previous GSH - sadly now gone. Yes. The Turkey & Rice range contains no chicken protein and the poultry fat has been purified – meaning the dogs immune system does not recognise it as chicken. Turkey is widely recommended as a novel protein for dogs suspected of having a chicken allergy, as most dogs have not been previously exposed to it – significantly reducing the likelihood of a reaction.
What is the best hypoallergenic puppy food for a dog with a sensitive stomach?
