April 13, 2022 Having started on the MERA puppy food (Junior 1 and Junior 2), my 3 now adult dogs are all on MERA Agility and have absolutely thrived from day 1. I wanted a good quality, wheat-free diet and I was very particular in researching and choosing MERA, as all my pups came from very compromised circumstances and 2 were chronically under-nourished. I chose Agility for their adult feed, as their lifestyle is extremely active as they go about living their best lives with us, here on the farm. Yes. The Turkey & Rice range contains no chicken protein and the poultry fat has been purified – meaning the dogs immune system does not recognise it as chicken. Turkey is widely recommended as a novel protein for dogs suspected of having a chicken allergy, as most dogs have not been previously exposed to it – significantly reducing the likelihood of a reaction.
