By following the Limited Ingredient Diet (LID) principle, we use only one source of animal protein and one source of carbohydrate. This “pure” approach creates a truly hypoallergenic environment for your puppy’s developing digestive system, eliminating common triggers and ensuring maximum digestibility.

Why it works: Because the Turkey & Rice profile remains consistent across our Puppy, Junior, and Adult ranges, you can transition your dog between life stages without the digestive upset typically caused by switching proteins.
In the MERA PURE sensitive recipe, we have deliberately abstained from using: Cereals, exotic meat sources, colourings, flavourings and preservatives, genetically modified ingredients, sugar, soy, vitamin K3.
Composition:
rice (41%), turkey protein (23%, dried), rice protein, poultry fat, apple pomace (3.3%), poultry protein hydrolysate, beet pulp (2.5%), linseed (2.5%), brewer’s yeast (2.5%, dried), salmon oil (0.8%), bovine colostrum (0.5%, decaseinated), sodium chloride, sunflower oil (0.3%), yeast cell walls (dried, rich in beta-glucans and mannan oligosaccharides), chicory inulin (0.1%), potassium chloride, glucosamine from animal tissue (0.02%), chondroitin sulphate (0.01%).

protein 29%, fat content 16%, crude fibre 2.5%, crude ash 7.5%, calcium 1.40%, phosphorus 0.95%, sodium 0.35%.

Feeding Recommendation for Large Breeds
For large breed puppies (expected final weight over 40kg), we recommend transitioning from MERA PURE Sensitive Puppy to MERA PURE Sensitive Junior Turkey & Rice from 6 months of age until adulthood. This ensures a controlled growth rate specifically for larger skeletal structures.
